Buya (6th–8th grade students)
- Sunday mornings @ 9:30 & 11am – in the Underground
We begin each week by hanging out and getting to know each other, and then move into small groups to personally explore each other’s lives. Our emphasis is to make personal relationships between students and leaders the number one priority. We believe personal relationships are the foundation in building a passionate and fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ.
These activities bring our student community closer together. In addition to planned small group events/activities, we hope to create opportunities for new students to easily get involved in as well. Our events are about having fun, getting to know each other and serving others. We do different types of events like a day boating, tubing and swimming at the lake, overnight retreats with friends and leaders, and running a 3-Day Kid’s Camp with our partners at Mission Adelante in Kansas City, KS.
Each summer we create a unique and engaging 4-day camp for our incoming 6th-8th grade students where we engage in activities like high and low ropes coursing, geocaching, and of course, major hanging out and talking about the work God is doing inside of us!

A coffee lounge just for 9th–12th grade students. Watch the service live from one of three TVs, relax on a couch or sit with your friends at a coffee table. Free breakfast (usually pancakes) is provided and prolific texters are welcome!
- Small Groups – Weekly throughout the School Year
A place where high school students can share their lives and ask questions about who God is and how God fits into real life. We gather for small group discussions, fun hangout nights or service projects in the community. Times and days of the week for the upcoming school year still TBD. If interested in attending, please email Justin Talley at email@example.com to get on the contact list for more info.
- Summer Trip to Colorado
Each year we take our incoming 9th-12th grade students on a truly wonderful and challenging experience: an 8-Day trip to Buena Vista, CO, where we go white water rafting, rock climbing/repelling, and backpacking.
