We are hard at work preparing a plan to re-gather as a COVID resistant community. None of us has a desire to participate in accelerating the spread of the coronavirus. We are digesting the CDC Community of Faith Guidelines, have met with the Clay County Health Department, and are regularly engaging the Clay County COVID-19 Recovery Plan.
Despite the call to “reopen”, we don’t think we’ve ever closed! Hundreds of you are meeting regularly, reaching out to your neighbors, and learning the joys of ZOOM! If we have to reopen, then our concept of ecclesia (the biblical word for church) is really messed up.
If you are feeling disconnected, please take advantage of the many opportunities to connect in a smaller group. Click here to show your interest.
This coming Sunday, June 7, we can have 15 additional people come to the campus and watch the live online production in person.
- You must wear a face mask while in the building and abide by the physical distancing strategy of staying 6 feet from other people. If you have any of the COVID-19 symptoms below, we ask that you please stay home.
Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhea
- Please complete this form for each person in your family who wants to watch at the campus. You cannot enter one form for your family. Only 15 people will be allowed to enter and this form will automatically close once 15 people have completed it. There will be a new form each week.
- We will email the people (15 max) who complete the form before Sunday. And, we will be at the office entrance (the door under the large Shoal Creek Community Church sign on the building) from 9:15am to 9:25am to let you in on Sunday. We are excited that you desire to watch in person!
